Nazarene Mission Services’ origins are with Nazarene Health Ministries.  Since 2011, Nazarene General Hospital pursued and was granted many development and infrastructure projects through various foreign aid programs.  These development and infrastructure projects were all assigned to a division of Nazarene Health Ministries.  This division of NHM was so successful that the Church of the Nazarene deemed it best that this division become independent in order to benefit the other ministries of the Church as well as NHM.  Once made independent, this division was given the name Nazarene Mission Services.  Today NMS serves the Church in many more capacities than project manangement as it seeks to support the development of the minisitries of the Church.
